Description

Ashborne House is a traditional and charming Victorian property situated
within a pleasant residential area of York. Our location offers not only
great access into York, with its fantastic selection of restaurants and attractions but
also the wider Yorkshire area. We are also conveniently situated for York
racecourse, York University and Fulford International golf club.

Eight tastefully furnished bedrooms combine convenience with comfortable living
perfectly. Each comes complete with a television, direct dial telephone, trouser press,
coffee making facilities and WiFi connectivity. As an exclusive member of Deliciously
Yorkshire, breakfast is assured quality with a minimum of 5 ingredients on the menu
sourced from within Yorkshire and Humber. Expect the tastiest start to your day
with food locally sourced from Yorkshire free range eggs to out door reared dry cured
bacon. Vegetarian alternatives are of course available.

Situated just a five minute drive from the train station, Ashbourne House is easily accessible by rail. recently crowned Europe's top city tourist destination for 2007, york boasts a
wealth of tourist attractions, including York Minster, shopping in Stonegate and the
Shambles, the Roman heritage at the Yorkshire Museum, and the River Ouse with boat
cruises and splendid riverside walks.
We are fully licensed to sell alcohol and serve drinks to your room, or alternatively unwind in an easy chair in the dining room.
There is parking for guests, great access to the city and the A64 to the Yorkshire

Directions to Ashbourne House

Directions
From the South via the M1/A1 and A64:

Turn off the M1/A1 onto the A64 Leeds-York road. Follow the signs to York city centre and after passing the race course on the left and then crossing the river, take the slip road for the A19 Selby-York road (also marked Designer Outlet). Follow the signs for York, going through the village of Fulford and then past 2 sets of traffic lights. After the second set of traffic lights you will pass Fulford Chase on the left. Ashbourne House is on the right just a little further down the road.

From the North via the city centre:

Follow the signs for Selby and the A19 South. Travel past the Police Headquarters and Imphal Barracks on the left. Ashbourne House is about 200 metres further down the road on the left
